The end of the beginning
Well this marks the 10 day countdown until fall semester is over!! It has been quite a learning experience for me. Definitely had my good times and my bad times, but in the end I am so grateful I chose to come to school at BYU Idaho. I have met some amazing new friends that I know I will have for awhile and I cannot wait to go back to my old ones at home :) School is bipoloar to me....one day I will be having a blast and not want to go home and then the next day I will be balling my eyes to get out of this place. I have decided that its just first semester and its hard to get used to a new place where I know no one. Winter semester will be loads of fun because I am taking a skiing class and getting a season pass so I will be able to go up Targhee all the time :) I am looking forward to new classes and meeting new people. I must say though I have never been so grateful for family and friends before in my life. Without my strong relationship with my parents and my best friends telling me I can do it and to hang in there til break I would already be back in California. I know that this is where I need to be at this point in my life and even though it has gotten hard at times I really have benefited from being in Idaho for school. I am hoping to get my grades up and be able to transfer down to BYU in Provo by next winter. It is almost 5 hours closer to home and that pretty much sold me!! haha I love being up here and having the blessings of the gospel. I am so glad that I am able to attend a school church because I have matured so much since I have been up here and I cannot wait to come back for my next semester for more fun times, no sleep, and new friendships!! Christmas vacation here I come :)

Blissfulness
So i have been so up tight about being homesick but I decided that my life is pretty darn blessed! I have amazing family, friends, roommates and the Lord in my life! i must say though I am very excited to go home in 2 weeks :) it will be so nice to see all my friends! Thanksgiving break was this past week and I got to go down to my sister Stephanie's house, where my parents met us and had a very relaxing week with the family! i finally got to meet my new niece Maddy, she is sooo adorable...especially with her very cute mohawk she has right cause she has sooo much hair!! And my 2 year old nephew is talking soo much, although he can say his S's very well so instead of Sam he says Dam...its very cute though! and my five year old niece Bailey is getting soo old but she is such a sweet girl and i love getting to spend time with all of them! I must say seeing my parents and having them there was soo great because I had not seen them in awhile and we were all soo relaxed and having a good time...it was just nice to have the comforts of my parents around again! I really was not looking forward to coming back to school but as soon as everyone got back my opinion changed! I was focusing so much on wanting to go home that I forgot the great people i have here! It has been very nice to be back but we are all very anxious to just get out of here:) Christmas is right around the corner and I cannot wait...i love my house around Christmas!! But anyways that is my life as of right now...my new way of looking at life is to be grateful for everything I have and always remember that and the people that really love me will always be there for me!!! And i will always be there for them!! So thats it for now....only 2 more weeks... cannot wait to see all my "family" in Cali :) plus the beach and the sun and in-n-out and Mosey's Cafe for acai berry bowls!!

Best of both worlds
College is a time when we are supposed to find ourselves and grow, but its hard when all you can think about is home. I do not even understand why I am home sick but I think it is because we are all so used to be at home for 18 years of our lives, and it is very hard to adjust to something new. I also think its because my friends are my family, and my true friends are back home and I miss that comfort! I miss how life used to be, do not get me wrong I really do love college and the freedom, I love new things and its great up here I just wish I could the best of both worlds. I just need to keep telling myself that is a part of growing up, and in order to be successful in the long run you need to have your ups and your downs. I cannot wait til I get to go home, December could not get here soon enough! Although I do get to go to my sisters on Friday and I am so stoked to see my parents my sister and my new niece!! Home is always gonna be there but opportunities are only there for a little while so gotta jump at them when I can!! So I need to stop complaining and just be grateful for the life that I have! When life gives you lemons, make lemon juice!! So I am going to bed goodnight and let the countdown begin till winter break!!! 5 weeks :)

Welcome to College!!
So I have not posted in a really long time and I think I need to start posting more open...sadly im still trying to figure all of this blog nonsense out. So college is offa and running and it is the best adventure yet! I have met so many people and made a ton of new friends. Although college is a lot of fun it is also a time for growing up! I have been going through the worst growing pains...realzing that everyone is growing up, going to college is a new experience and a new way to grow! I have been having a blast up here and have been learning so much! It has been such a blessing to be up here and I have realized that I was sent to BYU Idaho for a reason. My testimony has grown so much and my outlook on life has definately changed. Rexburg is a completely different place than escondido! I call it a bubble and it really is! Here everyone has the same standards and lives the same ways and going home is just a shock! I have become a stronger person up here, some may say I have changed but if I have it has been for the better! There have been a few incidences up here that have made me realize guys are not my life and school is. I need to focus on my school work and get my major under way and put boys on a hold... which i have been doing and it has been working pretty well. I must say though that tonight was a break down... I love being up at school and the person i am developing into but i miss my family and my friends and quite frankly the sun and beach. It is supposed to be getting really cold here finally and so going home is going to be paradise. The count down has begun...12 days til Thanksgiving break and 6 weeks to Christmas break! I am soo pumped... well there is life soo far in good ol' Rexburg and i promise to post more often!

Everything happens for a reason
So this last month has been quite interesting to say the least. When life is going so great it is just luck that something horrible is about to happen. In the same week my family had a close family friend die and my boyfriend and I broke up :( But i have decided that everything happens... we all have been so busy that we loose track of how to actually be happy! But along with all of that school is only a mere 2 weeks away for me and it shocking how fast time flies by when you do not expect it! Its like i am at graduation all over again waiting for summer and the time of life time before I am off on my ew adventure, but now that adventure is just around the corner and I am freaking out. My friends are all leaving and I am sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting to leave so I can get out of the drama, the memories that bring sadness, and to start over! College is a new experience that brings around a whole new life and I am beyond excited to start that! I must say it is going to be the hardest thing to say goodbye to my parents and my bestfriends who are still here! Thank goodness for technology so I can still see them over skype and talk to them! ahaha
Now being a soppy little girl I feel as if i have a broken heart but I know it is all for a reason. I have been thinking a lot that if its true love then we will find eachother later down the road and if not then it was just not ment to be and my prince charming is out there waiting for me to find him! But I am ready for college and meeting new people! Well T MINUS 14 days and I am off to BYU Idaho and my new adventure! Wish me luck :)

Growing up!
So i am a boring blogger so far cause i really do not know how to do it yet! But I am slowly figuring out...anyways its the middle of summer and i cannot stop thinking about growing up. I am dating this boy, Seth Hanson who is leaving on a mission in a few months and i am not handling that so well! I am so excited for him and support him 100% but still it is just hard to not think that i will not see him for 2 years! But goring up has to happen so I just need to go with it and enjoy every second of it. But with growing up comes college...another bitter sweet thing! My friend Kacee and I were talking about it and why are we taught to find ourselves in High School and grow up so quit and then just have to start all over again! I just do not understand all this at the moment but I know some day it will make sense to me! So I am so weird sometimes, I do not want to leave for college but I am so stoked to move into my dorm at the same time! I am like biting at the bit to find out who my roommates are! I am hoping to room with my friend Annie, my new best friend! We became fast friends and have so much in common and i am so stoked to go to school with her! Growing upi has ups and downs, new adventures to embark on but also many goodbyes at the same time. This blog may be a little all over the place but I just write while i think! The topic tonight was growing up because I am struggling with it pretty bad right now,I just would love to get to college and skip all the goodbyes because saying goodbye will make it that much harder! But I wanted a future and to get out of California so I have to pull through with the decisions I made because I am not a quitter! Well I think that is enough blabbing for now :) Hope I didn't bore you too much!

Ooo summer!
So tonight is my first night of blogging and have no pictures yet but decided because I am so bad at journal writing that this might help. So this summer before college is very fun and overwhelming at the same time! My best friend left for college this past weekend and I felt as if a part of me leBft! Shelby helped me through a lot especially through my senior year and it will be very hard to get used to her being gone but this is all about growing up. So growing up...why does it have to be so hard sometimes?!?! Graduation and turning 18 were fun but the goodbyes and moving away from home, not so much! Speaking of graduation, what a fun experience! Every one is so happy and excited for each other that nothing else in the world matters! I loved being with all my friends and family and finally being done with High School was definitely a plus! And 18!! what a fun day! went to the fair with everyone and the boyfriend took me out to BJ's for dinner...it was delicious :) well that is the beginning to my summer...still have 2 months left and then college here i come!!! I cannot wait to start my new journey in life :)
